EFY Week Four: Santa Barbara 2

We have just finished our 4th week.  Seriously, where is the time going?  I am started to get sad as I realize that my EFY summer is half over.  I cannot express how much I love this job.  Even though at times it can be frustrating and I get REALLY tired, it is SO rewarding.  We just had a blast doing a second week in Santa Barbara.  It really doesn't get better than SB.  (well does it.....after all we are in Hawaii as we speak!)  But for real....this experience is challenging me in ways I would have never thought possible.  It is definitely refining me my character.  I have grown so much and am starting to gain peace with Grandma's passing.  Though, I had a moment today where I almost called her, and then it hit me, yet again.  That she wasn't there.  It's been hard, but I am getting through.  On a happier note, here are some of the highlights from the week!! :)

Happy 4th of July!  Ryan's fav holiday.  "Amer-I CAN!!!!!!"  haha.

I love Goldfish.  More than you know.

Tuesday's dance was AMAZING as usual.  I LOVE all these people.  Seriously :)

Games night was so much fun!  Note my American flag :)  "VOTE FOR ELLE!!"

We have the BEST front desk staff at UCSB!  Love love love them.  Also the Wilde's were are session directors and they were SO amazing.  I cannot express enough how much I LOVE them.  And Tazia is the BOMB.  Love her :)

I think I love yellow shirt day :)  I was so sad during the last meal at the DLG.  BEST. FOOD. EVER.

Our team (minus Maurie and Rachel) at the pier by UCSB.   What a beautiful place to have stayed for 2 weeks.  Santa Barbara WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!  Till we meet again....

We then flew out of SB last night and into our next destination...HAWAII!!!!

ALOHA!  This should be a good week :)  As long as I don't have to deal with cockroaches!!!  haha.
